Adult Programs                      at the North Providence
Library

Water Your Mind - Read!

Adult readers - why let the kids have all the fun?  Join the reading game this summer as the Library helps you "Water Your Mind."  Like the summer programs for our younger readers, adults are encouraged to read for their own pleasure and as a wonderful example for children and grandchildren.  Enter a weekly drawing for a prize.  For each book you read, you'll have a chance to win!  The program will run from June 28th through August 20th.

Spelling with the Scrabble Game!

This summer at the Library - come and join the fun.  Begins on Monday, June 21st at 1 p.m. for all students and will continue until August 23rd.  The 3 students with the highest scores will receive a reward.

Knit and Crochet @ the Library

Join us for weekly drop in sessions of crochet and knitting get togethers at the library.  Everyone is welcome from novice to expert!  We hope to bring together people willing to share techniques, patterns and tips in a relaxed and friendly setting.  Bring in a project and chat and work on your piece with fellow crafters!  No need to register, just drop in any Tuesday from 10 am to 12 pm.

Mystery Book Club

The Library invites you to it's Mystery Book Club on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 pm.  For more information, call the reference department and ask for Sara, or visit our mystery book blog at
