If you enjoy trying new food or paging through cookbooks, then this is the group for you! Meet others who revel in creating and sharing culinary delights. Join us for discussion and sampling food related to the monthly theme. Feel free to bring an item to share that fits the theme, but don’t forget the recipe!

We also discuss the history of the dish and have trivia questions for prizes.  We’re always seeking more taste-testers! Meets once a month on Thursday at 11:00 AM. Check our calendar for dates and themes. Hope to see you at my table!

Sample Recipe form June’s At the Table

Greek Orzo Salad

1 box of Orzo pasta

2 cups diced cucumbers

2 cups sliced grape tomatoes

1/2 cup red diced onion

2/3 cup crumbles Feta cheese

3 to 6 oz. sliced olives

1 package Good Seasons Greek dressing

1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

1/4 cup red wine vinegar

3 tbsp. water

Cook pasta and set aside (al dente). Min large bowl cucumbers, tomatoes and onion.  Add the orzo pasta. 

Make the Greek dressing and set aside.  Add the Feta cheese and then pour on the dressing. 

Refrigerate 4-5 hours or overnight.
