Now is the time to join the Summer Reading Program at the Library – designed for all pre-readers and independent readers up to age 10.     For more information on the reading program and the list of performers that will be at the library this summer,  read on.

Now is the time to sign up for the 2018 Summer Reading Program at the North Providence Library.  When you register in the Children’s Department, you will receive a bookmark, reading log and a schedule of activities.

The Reading Program is fun and easy!  All you have to do is read (books, magazines, newspapers, even books on your summer list for school) or do an activity for 15 minutes.  (We have some suggestions on your reading record and room to add your own).

Keep track of your reading or activities by coloring in one symbol on your reading record.  Continue reading between June 25th and August 8th.  When you have completed all the levels you may come in to receive a free book of your choice.  All participants who complete the Summer Reading Game will be invited to our annual Wrap-up Party on August 8th.
