Knit and Crochet @ the Library!
Join us for weekly drop in sessions of crochet and knitting get togethers at the Library. Everyone is welcome from novice to expert. Bring in a project – chat and work on your piece with fellow crafters. No need to register, just drop in any Tuesdays from 10am to 12pm or Wednesday from 7-8:30pm.

Scrabble Lovers!
If you are looking for a place to play Scrabble, then come to the library on Wednesdays at 1 p.m. All interested adults are invited to meet and compete with other Scrabble lovers no matter what your level of play.

Mystery Readers
The Library holds a monthly Mystery Book Club on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 pm. For more information, call the Reference Department and ask for Sara or visit our Mystery Book Club Blog.

The Last Friday of the Month Book Club

Join us on the last Friday of each month at 11 am in the Library’s conference Room.  No registration is necessary, just drop in with a book or two that you liked.  Let the group know briefly (3 minutes max) why you’d recommend it.  Don’t be intimidated, we just want your opinion – not a book report!.  Coffee, tea and goodies will be served.  The first meeting of this new book group will be held on September 30th.  Hope to see you there.  Check out our blog at Last Friday of the Month Book Club Blog 

Wednesday Movie Matinee at the Library

Every Wednesday morning at 11 am, the library will be showing movies which are free and open to the public.  Popcorn and drinks will be available.  Call the library at 353-5600 to find out the title of movie to be shown or look for hints on Facebook.

Kids’s Stuff

The Library offers 4 sessions of pre-school story hours for children from ages 3 months to 5 years. These programs consist of stories, songs or fingerplays and a simply craft.    Story time starts in late September and runs through early May.  Pre-registration is a must.  Call the Library for more information.

BABY & ME  -  For ages 3 months to 23 months

TODDLER TIMES 2  -  For ages 2 years

TODDLER TIMES 3  -  For ages 3 years

PRESCHOOL STORY TIME  -  For ages 4 and 5 years

Special Story Times, Baby Signing Time (for ages 9 months to 3 years), Jr. Book Buddies(for ages 5 to and Lego Club occur throughout the year and more information will be listed on our website.
