E-Zone Download Station

Audiobooks can now be downloaded at the North Providence Library at the E-Zone Download Station located on the second floor at the Reference Desk. Previously, library patrons needed a home computer with high speed internet access to use the library’s E-Zone Downloadable Media site. The E-Zone Download Station, powered by Overdrive, can test devices for compatibility before attempting to download and transfer titles. Library patrons who have a valid Ocean State Libraries card may check out and download up to six titles at a time.

The ELF Child-Safe Browser allows children to safely explore carefully chosen, highly engaging free-use educational resources. Even children with no computer experience are able to sit down and start right in and begin learning on so many levels. These are the same programs available on the AWE computers located in the Children’s Department of the Library. Click on the ELF below to install on your home computer.
